Marigo Raftopoulos shared with us her findings of her Doctoral thesis on gamification and game based learning in the corporate sector. My favourite nugget of advice is that gamification is made up of 50% business strategy and then a more or less equal blend of technical foundations, integrations with everything, game design thinking and design skills.
