Feel good daily: find something cognitively demanding

Today’s feel-good selection comes from our game designer Mark

Feel-good game of the day: Fire Emblem

Fire Emblem: Three Houses – One of the best things we can do to pick ourselves up when we’re down, is to find something that is cognitively demanding enough to shift our attention away from whatever it is that’s bothering us. I picked up this game on a whim as it was getting great reviews, but I was completely new to the franchise so I didn’t know what to expect. I found this game to be the most cognitively demanding game I have ever played, no other game has ever asked so much of me and it is a thoroughly enjoyable experience – though other games in the franchise are very similar, I found the difficulty curve in Three Houses to be just right, and the story takes you to places you never see coming.

Feel-good song of the day: I’ll Be The First by Kill it Kid

I’ll Be The First by Kill It Kid – A group from the UK that is dedicated to the honest sound of the Old West, this song has an unforgettable, high-energy riff that always picks me up.

Feel-good thing to do: Walk

Walking – I’ll often start my day by walking a few blocks on my own or with my partner. It gets the blood flowing, gets the oxygen moving and always makes me feel better!

We hope you are enjoying this series of feel-good suggestions from the team, send us yours and maybe when we run out we will run with yours too 😉
